Who We Are
Meraki Animal Rescue & Outreach (MARO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Inspired by the meaning of Meraki—to do something with soul, creativity, and love—we provide compassionate care, lifesaving medical treatment, foster homes, and second chances while promoting responsible pet ownership and supporting our community through education and outreach.
Our dream? Our dream is to build a community where every animal is safe, valued, and loved. We envision a future with fewer homeless pets through rescue, education, accessible resources, and responsible pet ownership—giving every animal the opportunity to find a forever home and every family the support they need to keep their pets for life.
